Anche l’uso creativo della luce naturale ha ispirato molte delle riprese come il profilo in silhouette di Marina mentre le sistemano il velo, il fascio di luce sui suoi passi mentre percorre le scale per uscire da casa sua, le ombre degli alberi che disegnano forme sui pavimenti e molto altro.

The story of this Wedding in Sicily has been realized with the reportage technique: a real tale where the wedding videographer blends into the guests and carefully moves in order not to upset the naturalness of the events and the feelings of people around.
Spots and settings are the backdrop of this Sicilian Wedding: a church over the sea (wedding by the sea) in a lukewarm day of October, Villa Roberto: an intimate wedding venue surrounded by a suggestive park that overlooks the Strait of Messina. Each element of setting has its own place. Each element is a piece of story.

Marina and Mariosimone are the protagonists: A refined couple who likes good music and company. The emotion can be perceived from their eyes and discrete gestures, from the way they look at each other and hold their hands as for saying: “I am here now”.
The elegance of the bride, the veil, the preparation before leaving her home, the smiles while standing on her seaview terrace, her arrival at the church. On the other hand, the groom waiting nervously at the church nave who suddenly sees her arriving. Their silhouette bodies on the background of a majestic gate from which you can see the blue, sunny sky; the applauses and the rice, the greetings and finally the wedding party; the elegant lunch outdoor, the imperial tables embellished with autumnal decorations, the music of the A20 that accompanies the event.

The main theme of this wedding film is represented by the details that tell about waitings, unique moments like the promenades among majestic trees, the conversations with friends and the entertainment between dance and drinks.
Even the creative use of natural light has inspired most of my filming as for example the silhouette profile of Marina while fixing the veil, the ray of light on her steps while traversing the stairway to leave home, the shadows of the trees that draw shapes on the floor and much more.
